While Rudolph was away Visage took a brief nap. No reason why not to rest when he could, considering he had no idea what the trek might bring with it. Awakened by the lumbering dwarf awhile later, Visage happily accepted back his swords, now coated with silver. He cocked his head at the dwarf. "Do you by any chance have just a bit of spare silver? I have a bit of a plan for it, if possible."

"Mhm..." Aurea nodded, and turned around to grab, and pass her sword to Rudolph, although being visibly reluctant about it. With the dwarf gone, she remained in the room for a while staring through the window before she suddenly left as well, leaving resting people unbothered. Despite the weather outside, the knight apparently engaged herself on aiding the people performing repairs. For next few hours Aurea could've been seen outside carrying around various materials and boxes, operating a hammer with nails sticking out of her mouth, or using some other tool alongside people of Thornfell. She hadn't really asked anyone for instructions, rather taking care of simple obvious things and heavy lifting.

Seeing Rudolph leave the forge and head to the town hall, Aurea quickly finished what she was doing at the time, and soon followed. When she retrieved her weapon, the knight slowly ran her open palm on the flat side of the blade, examining it. "Well done...Thank you." Aurea murmured the first part to herself, and then modestly shown her gratitude with thanks and a nod, before putting the sword away. "So...When do we depart?"

[OOC: I was to timeskip but Alph and Skully ninja'd me. Its fine though, so simply consider their posts just after mine.]

As Rudolph's forging passed, so did the time. The mayor left the room and went back to his quarters within the town hall. One could swear the man was snoring but maybe not. The rain slowly weakened bu tnot completely but the lightning had visibly stopped and the thunder ceased almost completely. The townsfolk had already begun their work of repairing the large walls that encircled Thornfell by the time the dwarf had entered the forge, alongside the soldiers of Sir Dreimon, the repairs went smoothly. The investigatory group mingled (or not) with the locals or simply doing what they preferred. Once Rudolph had finished with his work, it was just after noon.

The mayor reappeared from his room down the hall and noticed some had not left the large living space. His eyes settled on the weapons that Rudolph had created, one of Aurea's and another of Visage's.

"Good afternoon, master dwarf," he greeted. "I see you've gotten your work finished. Masterfully done." Roderique came closer and inspected the silvered weapons.

Upon hearing Aurea's question the mayor rubbed his chin in thought. "Perhaps the sooner the better," he said. "If night falls, your return trip may be harder than what it needs to be."

Mari was about to turn and leave the room when the dwarf stepped up in front of her, demanding her weapons. She glanced over him in a moment of confusion, before slipping her hand behind her back and pulling the handcannon out of its fodder. She presented it passively to the side, allowing Rudolph to clearly see it.

"My blades do not need tinkering, but I appreciate the offer. Instead use some of the silver and make me some pellets. A dozen or two should suffice." she blandly stated before walking past the dwarf and patting him on his shoulder on the way.

The woman made her way through the main door and down a corridor, soon finding herself at the entrance of the premises. There, besides a couple of guards that supervised said entrance, stood two more individuals. A man and a woman, both differing from each other in every aspect: the man stood tall, roughly 6'4, with short buzzed caramel hair and blue eyes. His posture was rigid and imposing, with straight spine and squared shoulders. His wardrobe was simple but effective, consisting of a plain white (and wet) shirt complemented with brown leather pants and boots. Over the pants he wore a complicated leather belt which showcased two pouches on its left and a hanging longsword on its right. He stood quietly, nodding at regular intervals to the woman's chatter.

Speaking of which, the woman was his polar opposite. Roughly a foot shorter than the man, with long red hair tied up in a weird bun, green eyes and a freckled face, she was going all over the place, gesturing often and even raising her voice every now and then, for various reasons. Her appearance consisted of a black short tanktop that revealed her belly, baggy cargo pants and black tabi shoes. The pants were ripped and cut in different areas, revealing the heavily tattooed legs the woman possesses. Alongside the leg tats she also sported some ink on her arms, having a red and black traditional dragon spiraling around her left arm and a dagger on her right forearm. Upon closer inspection one could notice that her pants holstered a handful of small knives in specific compartments, alongside a handcannon that was strapped to her waist.
The two did share one particular. Both of them had a red and black scarf: the man had his tied around his neck and the woman had it wrapped around her hair, holding the bun.

When Mari laid eyes on the two, she began walking towards the two. As she closed in, she managed to hear some of the one sided conversation but paid no heed to it. As the leader of the Fangs neared the two, the man relaxed a bit, whereas the redhead stiffened up.

"This job is going to be a bit more complicated than expected. Werewolves are probably involved so this won't be a walk in the park. I'm open to suggestions." she spoke with authority.

"Aye, there should still be some left in the crucible by the forge." Rudolph told Visage, he looked about to find Mari, a pouch in his hand of her bullets, he had made iron pellets which then were rolled in silver. "Aum ready when ye are." Rudolph responded gruffly to the group.

"Saw the dwarf move out with the silver," Hunter mentioned. "Seems you have the weapon advantage already."

Nat shrugged. "Haven't had much experience with Lycans," she said, balling her hand into a fist in front of her mouth thoughtfully. "I've been against druids once or twice if that counts."

Hunter raised a brow at his co-lieutenant. "I hear they're simply the mesh of both worlds. They should have the same kill spots as their human and animal counterpart. They're also obviously faster than us being feral, I suggest keep as far away from close quarter combat as possible, Mari." At that notion, Nat snapped her fingers.

"Take this," the woman unhinged her handcannon from her belt and offered it to her leader. "This should be of aid against the beasts."

Mari gently took the handcannon from the hand of her lieutenant and brought it behind her back, strapping it alongside her own.

"That's the plan, Hunter. I told the dwarf to make some pellets for the cannon. I'd rather put a silver bullet in their head before they can get too close." she quietly spoke, so that the conversation could remain only between the three of them. She then turned to Nat.

"I'll take care of the cannon. I know how much it means to you."

She took a small pause, looking first at Hunter then at Nathalie. She then continued with a more authoritarian tone.

"You will stay in town. Gather as much information about what's going on around here. I want to know if this city has any reliable contacts. And Nat, the mayor is not telling the whole picture here. I want you to find out more about it."

Nathalie bowed with a smile and replied to Mari's assurance: "If its in your hands, boss, I wouldn't worry too much."

Hunter nodded at the order while Nathalie straightened. A resounding affirmation from the two were all that Mari needed to hear from the two and she got them immediately.

"You take care as well," Hunter reminded. "I wouldn't mind a lycan leader but I prefer you as you are."

Visage headed out the doors, heading towards the forge to get some of the spare silver Rudolph mentioned. Stepping out, he shifted his clothes, robe morphing into a copious seaman's overcoat and hood. He pulled down the tip far over his head, shielding himself from the rain and cold. As he walked, his boots splashed in the muddy streets. He paused momentarily as his hearing picked up voices.

He paused for a moment, listening. 'Leader'....interesting. He shifted his form to match that of an older human seaman and continued out to the forge as the conversation ended. At the forge he took a handful of cooled silver, slipping it into a satchel that melded out of his clothing. Scouring the forge, he selected a nice, small stone crucible and slipped it into his satchel as well.

That completed, he headed down towards the docks where their ship was still moored. Approaching the captain, he nodded to him. "Oi, Cap'n."

The man turned. "Yes, seaman?"

Visage doffed the hood. "Noice to see ah friendly face 'n all that, but ya know me."

The man's face parted in a smile of recognition as the off-handed reference to The United passcode was mentioned. "Of course. Glad I could be of service."

Visage stepped closer. "First, ya'll find some money waitin' at the warves in Fedimia for ya service. Gov' paid 'n all that. Secondly, send out words this town is needin' some supplies somethin' awful, mah expense. Lastly, see what information you can have me mates dig up on an Illumian rogue lass. Heads up some kinda organization, uses one of 'em handcanons. Tell the Tradeskeeper for Highmount to meet me wi' that info when ah get in town."

The United captain nodded. The other seamen had paid no attention -- just an old sailor speaking with the captain. Maybe an acquaintance of some sort, as far as they knew. Visage and the man parted silently, business concluded.

He headed back to the Hall, shifting back into his normal form once under the eaves, his clothing now changing to match that of a cloaked traveling soldier. Light, flexible, but sufficient to keep out the rain and weather. He leaned against the doorway, waiting for the others to join him.

Lera snapped out of her daze. When did she daydream?

She recalled hearing Rabbit's answer about the book, which was his chronicle. A object that is valuable to its owner usually collects the essence from its owner. That would explained the chronicle's essence. Nothing special, right?

Pfft, she thought. Would it be that simple? Would the likelihood of it being an artifact as likely? Or perhaps the chronicle is a simple book? Then again, she also had an artifact of her own that was borderline useless as a weapon. So there was a possibility the book artifact was useless. But again, a book is not a deck of cards, so perhaps it contained spells? But if it was an artifact that only the owner could use, then it didn't matter if she knew more from it. But also...

"Welp." She just shrugged. No use thinking about it.

She turned towards the dwarf.

"Rudolph, do you happen to have any kinds of silver weapon I can use? I would like to accompany you to the ruins, too. The goddess Petrania would be glad to have metals offered in her name used for something greater than wasting away in the ruins." She clapped her hands together, as if praying. She looked at him with a serene smile, "I can assure you my ability to avoid danger is very good, despite who I am. If I faced any danger, I would immediately regroup with you and the group."

OOC: You know what screw timeline shite.

While everyone dispersed once more Amon decided to follow the dwarf and others to kill the werewolves, oh, and to support them. He walked towards the entrance nearby the dwarf, he let out a large sigh and took out his Bo staff that was on his back, he dropped onto the ground, having his hand slide down his bo staff near the bottom and got onto a crisscross position. He twisted his head to look at the dwarf standing there waiting for the others. "Hey, I'll be coming with you guys. I won't need any silver for my weapon I'll just try and get them cornered so that one of you guys can deal the blow-oh and I'll also be supporting you guys with some spells I know of...also nice beard you got," he said with a placid face. He'd turn to look at the room once more waiting for the others to come by.

-I wish I had a beard like that...-

"Lass," Rudolph sighed. "We ain't got the time ta babysit. I ain't doubting yer ability to run, I sayin we dunt need people who just run. Ye can just sit here and probably help just as much. Like lassie, besides runnin what can ye do? Cause I got no weapons for ye. Can ye cast magic? You have a bow I dunt see? Is there actually a blade inside that wooden sword? Cause no offense, but though these are night creatures. I dunt think yer sunny disposition und positive attitude are gonna do much. An' lad what support magic can you do?" Rudolph looked at the monk. "Keepin somethin in a corner ain't an easy gig, nor a safe one. So ye must be either mighty confident in your power or stupid. And this beard took a couple of decades laddie, think it might be older than you." Rudolph chuckled as he stroked it gently.

As time passed the whetstone and dagger found their ways back to their respective pouches and Rhea fell into a light sleep on the couch. If werewolves were truly common where they would be traveling, or in this town, she would be well rested when the time comes to deal with such a thing, if they were unfortunate enough to have to.

Lera almost whacked the mocking dwarf with her wooden blade. But in her heart, she knew that in close quarter combat, she sucks versus non-humans. Even with her martial arts skills and swordsmanship, she has always prioritized her safety, not taking them down.

As for magic... She was no stranger to them, but elemental was not her thing. Her magic... is circumstantial. Fateful, even. So unfortunately, her capability favors stealth more than combat.

"A dwarf you may be, but I agree. My talents are't fit against the Lycans. I will leave it to you and the others."

OOC: Reposted this since I deleted my original post thinking I may have made a mistake.

"Eh" was all he said, he decided not to tell as he would rather show him then simply just telling him as actions speak louder than words do. Those that didn't believe in Amon's ability to fight or support were usually wrong and Amon hoped this dwarf was wrong too. He decided to stay with the dwarf and others that were going to hunt those werewolves and he ain't going to be changing that decision anytime soon.
