Quote from DumboIf there is a God, then he's probably looking after the entire universe, so he doesn't even know Earth or our solar system exist because we're so small.

Quote from Darc-kNiGhTAlthough God "Knows everything" the reason people need to pray is because God wants to know if people would consult him for just a problem or even a talk.
Technically is knows everything anyway, so VOID POINT.
I realize that this world has gone bad, but I dont think God wants to help because the problem will probably be restored later. He hasnt forgot about humanity, He's still looking out for us. But he can alter luck. People think that they just can believe in God and everything will go there way.
Pray only works sometimes? How about, sometimes things go well for you and sometimes they don't?
You can't say "Well he didn't want to help me" when your prayer isn't answered, and equally, you shouldn't blame god when your prayer is "answered".
God made life, and God knows that life wasnt gonna be fair. Though he can make life better, he cant make it perfect.
Why not.
I've heard many stories about how God helped people's lives from praying. Theres always some sign that leads you the way. It can be something your friend says, something you read in the scriptures, or events in life.
Otherwise known as luck. People tend to blame every single good thing on God, and then brush off the things that go badly as not his fault.
We are here for judgement, to see how we act. Imagine if someone like Sadame was in Heaven? He doesn't want the wrong people in Heaven. He helps the right people on the way.
If he created Sadam, then he knew how he was going to act. So its basically like God is dealing out worse hands to certain people, and then punishing them for it.
Quote from Darc-kNiGhTWouldnt we be spoiled if life was perfect? No challenges, just ease, no competition, everyone would be perfect.
I know everything isnt done by god, there is luck. But the, "WTF" luck that actually made a difference in your life is god.
I once won a jar of jelly-beans at my school for guessing the correct amount out of about 1000 people. Are you saying that that was God? I carefully counted how many were in the top few layers, and then did an estimation. It happened to be right, but that was just luck. I wouldn't give that one to God, partly because if anything it was me, and partly because that would demean my achievement.
God made everyone equal. Sadame's acts were his, and the really bad ones was Satan guiding him.
What if he had an abused childhood? What if his parents beat him, or were murdered, or whatever? Is it really his fault if he grows up to be "bad"? And "Satan guiding him"? Are you actually serious?
"Technically is knows everything anyway, so VOID POINT."
This response was based on belief. There's no real reason to prove it.
So you don't believe God is omnipotent?
Yes, sometimes when you prayer is "answered" its not god, but the vital things are.
WHY are the vital things done by God? Because your parents say so?
