I say illegal since it kills a man every 8 seconds, and I don't think the head of the corporation smokes because he knows it's bad but he doesn't give a crap now does he!?

Moreover, it destroys the atmosphere AND causes second-hand smoking.

People aren't being forced to smoke, it's a choice, they know the consequences.

Make every drug legal in the own persons property. Stop trying to rule everybodies lives. They can do what they want to their own body, noone should decide what they can and can't do.

I think a fine should be issued for delibirlty smoking near someone one they asked them not too. Because thats just annoying.

Cigarettes aren't united under one corporation. There are hundreds of tobacco companies, and whether or not their CEO's smoke is irrelevant.

It doesn't destroy the atmosphere. You can't destroy the atmosphere. If it was going to ruin the ozone layer, the damage probably would have already been done. Second-hand smoking is already being paid attention to, with the nationwide public smoking ban in the US.

It shouldn't be banned. It's virtually impossible and unnecessary.

And while were at it lets ban guns, cars, alcohol, blunt objects, high bridges, knives, motorcycles, airplanes and ANYTHING that has EVER killed anyone.

The government also makes a lot of money off of taxes on cigarettes, so the chances of them making them illegal is little to none.

If we make it illegal, crime will skyrocket, plus the government won't be getting all that sin tax so they will probably get it another way.

It's their own fault if people decide if they want to live another 10 years or ignore the consequences and kill themselves by smoking.
