If asking someone out will jeopardize your friendship than you either weren't very good friends to begin with or your friendship wasn't worth saving.

Believe me, I've been rejected by my friends lots of times and everything's been a lot better because I don't have to worry about them liking me or not and I can just stick to being friends with them.

I also don't get where everyone gets the "It'll jeapordize our friendship" stuff, that doesn't make any sense to me.

Also, generally in situations where you are worried about jeapordizing your friendship, it's with a person who you started talking to because you like them so....

Sometimes after you ask someone out, they feel uncomfortable around you and it occasionally sticks and can ruin a friendship.

Well what I would do, I'd ask one of her friends to ask her if she likes you and if they say yes, then ask her out.
