I didn't use that site, I just googled "Google Chrome Download" and went somewhere else to DL it.

Ok I got it to work. It seems cool, but I will probably stick with FireFox until this thing gets out of beta. Some features are missing, like clicking down on the mouse wheel to scroll (I do this all the time)

I gotta wait tomorrow to use this. This computer fails and wont run the exe and the other computer wont install SP2 becuse it isnt a legit Windows install.

Quote from Dragon⁰⁷⁷I'm sorry we don't suck Google's dick like you clearly do. When there is a problem in something, especially a big one, it is human nature to point it out. Don't get your panties in a wad.
Maybe I should have just aimed my post at Canvas.
Quote from CanvasTorrents open with Limewire instead of it's default.
It doesn't have language packs correction.
Doesn't scroll down.
The velocity seems the same.
Holds less markers than Firefox.
It's very MACish.
Firefox or Opera are a way better choice
Quote from CanvasI can't either.
Oh! And you don't have an HOME button, that is awesome.
Also, Youtube not loading is obviously a matter of whose computer is running it, so the problem is compatibility, not Youtube support. Hardware support issues is a problem inherent in beta releases of programs: making sure something works on all hardware is one of the last things programmers focus on in development.
Quote from SawcFor me, the first time I visit a site it's a bit slow, but if I go back later it's fast from then on.
That's because it uses "Caching". Thats where a browser stores a webpage on the hard drive and/or RAM to make it load faster in the future. It's a feature of almost all browsers.

You know, U-toob is working for me. Canvas is just an idiot.

dragon, I love you... In a non gay way.
Sep 3, 2008 4:31 AM #243449
@Dragon: I agree. it's obvious that the fact that torrents are loading in Limewire is just a file-association issue, which can almost definately be rectified in the browser's options. Also, the language pack corrections are just a factor resulting from the program still being incomplete.
I don't think a few members here know what "Beta release" means.

Chrome gets bad after a while. At first it was superfast and all, and my computer itself was finally being quiet. Damn, it's getting worse by the second.
Never mind, it's something else....

Actually, I change my mind. If it will potentially cut my memory usage, it might be worth trying on this dying piece of shit computer.

I love the "New Tab" page. It adapts constantly to what I go to the most, like Gmail and stuff. I also definitely like that the tabs are above everything. Oh yeah and that webpages go from under the favorites toolbar to flush with the taskbar, that's sweet.
I dunno what all you people keep complaining about. This is a really smooth-running browser with minimal differences from Firefox, like the separate processes for each tab. Damn, this is awesome.
