Ok,my computer tells me to install this update,so I looked in YouTube and Google to see if it was worth to install.

I saw several negative posts/videos about Service Pack 3.

I remember I read this:

1.-Windows XP Service Pack 3 isn't free.

2.-6/10 downloads fail and the downloading window appears all over the screen,forcing you too reinstall all the system,which makes you lose all your data.

3.-It takes an "eternity" to install,and not many programs need SP3.

My questions are:Are those things real?
Should I install it?
Does SP3 help your computer in something?

sp3 supposedly makes your computer 1000 times faster

though i don't notice that.

i pirated my OS with sp3 integrated, so its funny that my shit works and your legit shit doesn't.

Except, you know, it is, so long as you have a genuine version of Windows XP already installed.

Also, you'll need about ~2GB of hard drive space free during the install.

Backup very important files first if you have bad luck with computers, but I would suggest upgrading to SP3.
