if this tournament did go ahead and you managed to keep it up for 6 months and it finished, then i wouldn't go and destroy all that by posting it on YOUTUBE, it lowers the quality of flash so much, makes it really unsmooth and stuff, and youtubers dont usually appreciate flash in the way that a FLASH SITE does

if your just worried about the fact that there's gonna be different frame rates, there is actionscript to change the framerate mid-animation, i dont know the actionscript personally, but im pretty sure its around somewhere...it was posted on one of the first 10 pages of the apococlock tourney i think. so if this did go ahead and you made a huge collab, the best places to post it would be newgrounds and maybe ugoplayer...but definately newgrounds.

it seems like you put quite a bit of thought into this, so i think you should've waited till the apococlock tourney was over, since now there'll be 2 competing tournaments, no doubt the apococlock is the bigger one in the sense that more experienced flash animators are in it...i hope for you that this comp wont die, but something tells me it will. 6 months? you really don't know how much of a big ask that is, lots of commitment, and i bet you'll lose at least half your contestants before the second round (through dropping out, not being knocked out).

you should've left this till after the apococlock tourney IMO, cuz right now, many people (including me) are thinking its a bit of a rip off despite the fact that a fair amount of thought has gone into it.

Well, if I find someone to make the collab in flash, it will be in flash. If I don't....maybe I find a bigger quality video posting site. TRUST ME, THIS TOURNAMENT IS GOING TO BE A VERY ENTERTAINING ONE FOR BOTH THE ANIMATORS, AND THE PEOPLE WATCHING THE ANIMATIONS. I'VE BEEN PLANING IT FOR AT LEAST 3 MONTHS (AT THAT TIME I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE APOCLOCK TOURNAMENT). Don't worry about the fact you'll get bored, the challenges are great, trust me. I just can't tell which the challenges are until the tournament starts, on 15th of March. You willl see the 2 months period of waiting for the tournament to start will be rewarded with a great tournament. I did, I am doing and I will do my best to make this competition great for all of you guys there animating.

Actionely, no, you can't because the subjects for the animations will not be revealed all at a time. You'll have to make an animation, then send it, make another one, send it. That's how the tournament goes :) By the way: I've entered you.

Yea, thanks for telling me Jaws, you know, my first language is not English. By the way, this is not going to fail. Does it seem like it is going to fail? The sign ups have started 36 hours ago and there already are 7 animators in. And stop posting something till you're sure about it. If you're angry go swore somewhere else. Thanks.
