Firstly, I present The Mizmillator!
Fairly easy, with an open core and little amounts of weapons.
Once destroyed the back part detaches into its own small ship. It's no challenge, Just for fun.

Image

The Scarab. Small. Easy. Quite disgraceful in the fact that it almost destroys itself; Well, Not exactly. I'm not going to post the one that does that, As it was never intended.

Image

Stinger. Again, Fairly easy, tough to break through to the core, and a extra-hard core makes this more of a stamina challenge. It mainly uses Vulcans. Well, Actually I think it only uses different types of vulcans.

Image
Huge and hard. I haven't named it yet, so for now I'll call it the SuperBlaster. I don't particularly like it anyway, I just wanted to make something mahoosive. I like the cursor design, but that's about it.

Image
Deployer. Probably my hardest, It will leap in and clasp you in it's "Arms"
almost instantly, and there's little way to avoid it. If you destroy the main core straight away, It will leave 3 ships, 2 ships the same, and one larger.

Image
And my personal favorite, the Destructor (CheesyGet) Nothing fancy, Big ship with weapons. I like it because of the immobile "Limbs" with weapons attached, this one is for looks and challenge. Kind of hard, and very durable.

Demonic - Actually turned out to be a really fun, intense fight. You went overboard on the weapons, that's for sure, but it actually didn't cross the line into plain frustrating (at earlier difficulties at least). The ship broke apart easily, and the multiple cores meant it separated into various mini ships, which is always cool. My biggest complaint is the ridiculous amount of durability on the core, I hate when people do that because you end up destroying everything else, and then just shooting at the core for ages waiting for it to die when the fight is essentially already over.

Yea, my next one should fix that problem, im putting a few simple weapon on the core where they can't be hit, meaning that when everything around the core is destryed it can still attack. Im working on a bad-ass battle ship with a special weapon I haven't started making.

Also, I made a smallish battleship that kills in one hit, only fires forwards though.

On a side note I ****ed around with system files and turned my ship into a purple blob, didn't work to well though so I switched it back, don't think we'll be getting a massive boss vs massive boss anytime soon.

NAME: CARGO

Hmm, this space craft was rather easy when I played against it but I have boosted up the durability on a couple of pieces.

It has weapons on the main directional areas (right, left, etc.) though the vulcan cannons only shoot periodically. (plus, both the vulcan and homing laser are easily dodged)

The only real offense it has are the lasers located on the back and front of the spacecraft. Taking advantage of that I added gravity fields in the front hoping to drag your ship in. (though, you would have to be rather close to be dragged in)

Anyways, it was just a test creation to see how the interface works and such. Still, I'm hoping to get some criticism so I can go on making better things.

SOME OTHER FACTS:
-CANCER CORE
-4 BOOSTERS
-2 BLADES LOCATED AT THE SIDE OF IT"S HEAD
-VULCAN AND HOMING LASERS LOCATED ON MOVING PLANES
-4 MIDDLE SIZED LASERS ON MIDDLE MOVING PLANE
-PART REGENERATION NEAR THE CORE

VaporCruiser, medium difficulty ish, maybe easy. It has 4 cores, each with different weapon sets.
I'll put up a DL link tomorrow.

New ships, smallest to largest;

Light Fighter

Image
D/L; http://www.savefile.com/files/1390822

Small and easy. I want to make a 'try' out of this involving you vs 30 of these but don't know how.

Background;
Designed to accompany small trade fleets but were soon found to be to poorly armored, they are now sold as escape pods or to new drivers in need of defendable but cheap transport.

Flat-Deck Convert

Image
D/L; http://www.savefile.com/files/1390826

Agian small and easy to defeat. This was a simple test of making a ship that looked like it had been converted to fight rather than being built to.

Background;
Used in small trade fleets and by self employed transporters. This model has been converted to be more defendable if attacked.

Battleship MK1

Image
D/L; http://www.savefile.com/files/1390835

Origenaly this was a weapon test sorta thing, stuck some armor on the front to make it more difficult. Unless you are in front of this ship it can only hit you with homing lasers. thses were added to make it more fun. NONE of the armor/weapons have child parts. It's secret weapon kills in one hit.

Background;
At the start of a war, these ships would launch a wave of attack from their secret weapon then fall back as they were extreamly vulnerable from the back and sides, they were popular with fleets large enough to cover their weak points.

I was bored, so I threw one together for you. Unfortunately, thirty was too many for my computer to handle at once, but there are thirty total. Also, they're a bit slow to be a real threat, so you might want to make them faster:

Alright, a post of all reviews. And Diggorrybio, I can't seem to find a download link anywhere in the thread for the Swordsmen. I think you forgot to include it in your post.

Falcon - A bit overboard on the engines. Either put less of them, or have them fire off periodically instead of always being on, because the whole battle is spent chasing it around in a never ending circle with your afterburners. Also, too many vulcan cannons, I learned the hard way not to do that. My Shplazz has way too many vulcan cannons, I finally just got rid of them all. The reason being, your ship already has plenty of arnaments, with the lasers and homing bullets, vulcan cannons just become annoying at harder ranks because it's impossible to dodge thousands of tiny bullets. Use them sparingly, don't just throw a few spinning ones all over the place because you figure you need more weapons.

Levidicuous - Cool design, and a decent fight. My biggest complaint would be the two drones, I think they should really just be detached from the beginning instead of stuck on either side because they were pretty useless. They never even got a chance to attack since I always had to kill them first to get anywhere near the main ship. Overall though, this was a well designed boss.

Hellfire - Neat concept, but to be blunt, it's a really boring fight. I spent the whole time just skirting around on the edge of the flame barrier shooting aimlessly at the thing. The fact that it keeps spinning constantly means you can't strategize by attacking a certain point, because even your afterburners wont let you keep up with the spin. You just kind of keep shooting at it hoping a couple parts will blow up, and before you know it, the whole thing just explodes.

Cargo - Well you said it was your first try using the editor, so I'll be merciful. It's actually really good for a first ship, but for one thing, the spinning lasers aren't necessary. It's tempting to take a bunch of the most powerful, coolest looking weapons in the game and have them spin around on a disk, but it's nothing but a cool looking nuisance. Try to plan out your bosses weapons more, instead of throwing random guns everywhere. Also, don't be afraid to add more armour plating, your ship is really spindly and key parts of the ship are vulnerable almost instantly, making the fight too quick. It's a good first ship though.

Cerealman, I hate ignoring your massive post full of bosses, but I'll get to it soon. I'm just randomly picking through the thread right now trying to get some reviews done, since not enough people are actually posting criticism.

You don't really have to. I would like someone to review my new ones, though.

The group is called The Raiders. (Aka. Space Pirates) (TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBES)

Image

The ships:

I don't have a name for all 6 ships. So I just labeled them 1-6.

1. Small, fast, probably the weakest one of the group. Yet the most annoying if you don't get him straight away.

2. The coward ship. Will run from your view until the other enemies are taken care off. Tries to kill you when you're weak. Has a fairly decent level of armor.

3. The leader ship. all commands are given from this ship. It's wise to destroy it first because it will repeatedly charge you and will not leave until you are dead.

4. Has a mother **** lazer, don't get in it. Will most definitely charge you until you kill it.

5. Weak in armor, but it makes up for it in arms. The ballistic fighter. Will fly in and out of your view until you kill it, released power balls and shooting homing missiles (which you WILL see beginning to end of this match) Has a SUPER MOTHER **** LAZER.

6. The cargo ship. Heavily armored, but it can't fire in any angle other than straight ahead. (Homing missles don't count) Since it exerts so much power to carry all of the stolen goods, it has vents on the lower left and right areas closest to the core.

EDIT:

SORRY, BUT MY SUMMARIES AREN'T ACCURATE, IT DEPENDS ON WHO YOU'RE ATTACKING AT THE TIME.

Heres a couple of mine,
http://www.savefile.com/files/1391242
Contains;
The Fleet; Self explainitory a fleet of medium sized ships, it lags alot, I don't suggest even playing this one.

Kuni; A sort of star shaped enemy which spins with lasers shooting everywhere, its slow moving so its and easy dodge.

Super Nova; Fires a radial burst of Vulcan shots, when destroyed a massive shock wave hits you. It pretty fun.

Sacrab Swarm; Another fleet like one, less ships, less lag. The ships resemble Beatles.

Spinner; A hard boss with a spinning center with spinning saw like ends, shooting spinning Vulcan shots on spinning turrets, which happen to spin, bring a barf bag.

The Syphon; Twists and contorts in so many different ways you won't know where his guns are pointed!

No screens, I might post some later though.

i only downloaded two of your bosses, cheesy, and i can say the following:

Spinner:the only way ti can be described as "hard" is the afct that it requires an hour long attention span. it lags whenever the blades are out, and it's i'mpossible to do any damage to it. the onyl strategy it requires is sitting there and shooting continuously, and resting when your health is low.

Syphon:Not fun at all, wayyyyyyyyyyyyy overpowered. when using such an insane amount of lasers, make sure to use the small ones.

Yeah spinner is more annoying than hard >_>

Syphon was my second or third one made, I was still playing with all the stuff. My most recent out of the ones there is Super Nova. [medallion.fed] I'll make more better ones later...
