my absolute favorite band is slipknot!!!!

Slipknot is just another emo death metal band. I tend to lean towards listening to music that is interesting and varies in topics and melodies, not the same song 3000 times in a row with the same lyrics and heavy drum beats switched around into different orders.

Don't forget about the whole, "We're not in it for the money, so go to Hot-Topic and buy a SlipKnoT bar stool, shot glass, hat, hoodie and T-Shirt, cause we're so not in it for the money!!!elevenone!!"

All of the band members wear distinct masks and boilersuits. A common unfounded rumor is that they wear masks to hide the semen and Santorum stains on their faces. While this may certainly be true, it's most likely because they're all ****-ugly.

When not bitching, whining, and cursing in interviews about how "****ing brutal" they are, the band members can be found engaging in homosexual acts, raping Joseph Stalin, and beating each other to death with frozen cow heads and dead babies.

It's not so much voicing his opinion as it is insulting a band he obviously has never listened to.

Though that's generally the SPP ideal, isn't it?

anyway, I don't particularly like Slipknot, I kind of agree with the guy that said they're pretty generic. The drums can actually be pretty interesting, but the vocals and guitar usually bores me.

They're okay imo, good enough for me to listen to them sometimes.

I find it pretty funny how they use masks. That's pretty pathetic, and ****ing uncool to me.
