Quote from AshWell, for one, you are confusing evolution and the big bang, and second, understanding the big bang requires more than just one or two posts. If you want to learn to understand, you have to actually put forth effort, since it's a very complicated subject. Read A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking.
More often then not they're thrown into the same bunch because people who don't believe in a creator as means of their origin tend to believe in evolution and consequently the big bang.
Also, the big bang is evolution. It's a different aspect to what the subject is, though.
The big bang would be considered cosmic evolution while what this thread is about is considered macro-evolution. I doubt many people would dispute micro-evolution as we've seen it happen; no reason in arguing that point.
I've got to admit, I'm loving this biased argument.
Creationists think their side is proven and so do atheists.
The one thing you've got to realize, is: this is a stalemate. No amount of evidence compiled for or against something could serve as definitive proof unless we've seen the process in action.
(By that I mean watching a monkey's offspring gradually walk more and more upright and grow less hair, or; meeting The Almighty face-to-face.)
