Sure some would have been, the ones that we have cures for. But there are a lot of disease now days that are a heap more common now then they were then.

i don't believe in god because i haven't found any proof that he exists, not because i KNOW he doesn't exist.

if god came up to me and was all "wussup bro" then i would believe.

Same here, though I don't believe in god because he is suppose to love everybody!...How is it that a human being dies every 2 seconds?

That's an easy one. Most of the religions do claim god loves everyone and whatnot, but he gave us free will, and then left the world go without influencing it. We also can't live forever.

I'm not a believer, I'm agnostic. I only thought I could answer this. Although religion is a personal sphere of each individual.

EDIT: With that said, I don't really see where this thread is going. Trashcanned ...

If you knew anything about religion, you'd know that there is an afterlife that's supposed to be paradise for all the people that are good. Duh.
