Basically the 'British Humanist Association' is raising money to have buses in London and possibly other british cities to carry the message
"There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life."
Here's my opinion this anyway, i don't like it. It's too direct and it's going to annoy people. religions advertise their religions and their churches, not their beliefs. An appropriate response would be to advertise the British Humanist Association, but nobody would pay attention to that. The only reason they're using this message is as a publicity stunt and it's going to make atheists look like dicks, which isn't really fair.
Basically this
Is not an appropriate or respectable response to messages like this

View Profile While I think it's very humorous, it's a bit too low-brow.
I think that they should say something like "Atheism is Epic" or something on the same level.
Although, come to think of it, they should probably have an oxymoron, like "Atheism is Religiousness" to match with the "Islam is Peace" statement.
Lol.

View Profile hmmm.... I don't see all the deal with religion and atheism. I personally have no idea what I believe, and don't waste a thought on it. I could spend all my life thinking about what I believe, and then when it comes to death, it could be quite the opposite. There's no point. Just live life to the full.
On topic: knowing the UK, some religious nutcase will find a way to get this banned.

Most of the Atheist's on here complain about Christians "forcing" their beliefs on people but then do this.

Yeah I agree but I think this is just what is needed. I actually want this to cause an uproar with the theists because Dawkins will just totally own their asses. People can't really say anything, because it will be exactly the same as what they've been doing. Except instead of advertising for something that believes in something, they're advertising for something that doesn't believe in that something.
[edit]
that last sentence is ****ed up, but just try to understand it please.

View Profile It is so unbelievably blunt. And you know some religious tightwad is going to freak out about it. That is why it is humorous.
