Try adding some more frames in-between to make the animation smoother. I also noticed that his leg became disjointed every once and a while. So make sure everything connects well on every frame. Also, for the speed he was running the tree seemed to have come to fast.
Beginners, post your Flash animations here.

Ok, thanks. I'll try to break it up and add some more frames-in-between-frames, for smoothness. Thanks for the help =D

Well, here it is, with some smoothness-frames added, and I rejointed his legs in those frames they were disjointed. I also increased the framerate from 10fps to 18fps, because he was running too slowly with the added frames. ((Is he still running kinda slow?)) And am I seeing things, or are his arms seeming to kinda waver at their highest point for a second after it has been reached?

His leg is still disjointed when he hits the tree, but I'm not really worrying about that, since I missed it while I was fixing it. xD

Yeah, I noticed that. It is kind of choppyish, and his arms waver a little bit. I just don't know how to fix that without redoing the whole animation. Any help? =)
I'm obviously not an expert, but I'm not sure how one would go about TEACHING you a style of animation. I think you would just have to work yourself towards it, with of course some help from people on how to make it realistic. I can tell you that you'd have to spend alot of time on it, making sure you don't forget to move any of the sticks. I hope that was clear.... Good luck, though. :)

LOL I meant I was wondering if someone could tell me like what they used to create the stick figure/stick cartoon guy and then maybe a few ways to animate it so I could try it.

They draw a stick with a brush, the select the ink bottle tool (its directly underneath the pencil tool) and then they just apply it to the stick figure.

That's kinda cool.
How long have you been animating?
And yeah.
They've kinda covered it about the Ink Bottle Tool. :D

arg dang! I am using the sub selection tool but instead of moving the joints and adjusting that stuff its bending them (or curving) when I just want to move the joints like usual. Not curve them... help? The help thread doesn't answer my questions right lol you guys tend to help me more :) ty!

nvm i got it and heres my lastest anime took me about 15 min. (lol im really slow!) Its my first shot at using this ink tool type animation and I really didn't try to make him look like he's jumping or doing anything... it was basically a test to see how this ink tool works :)~ here : http://www.swfup.com/uploads/swf-12183.swf
