I feel like the tumble into that pit looked unrealistic and it almost looked like he was trying to do a handstand. The jump wasn't bad, if you practice it will look even better. This might be me but I thought it looked a little choppy. What frame rate was that?
Anyways I made this little animation while I was sitting in the lobby of a hotel

30 fps :o

Making the best out of Flash.
Parasite the physics of the backflip is off. lol it looks like he was blown away by wind. Make him bend foward then make him jump, and make him flip. If that evens help you. i tried. :) but keep up the good work.

The parts that were finished seemed a little bit choppy. And I recommend you finish your animations if you are going to post them in this section. Try to double-frame only in the places that need it next time.

What I have learned from the animplanet's tutorial.

You should realise how he flew backwards after he threw that uppercut. Make him go with the flow, you must know which direction you're hitting, and make the stick figure continue in that flow. I'm looking forward to more animations.

I would start using guide lines. I saw a lot of resizing in your animation. The boomerang axe wasn't too bad.

@Parasite, you need to find a better flow, but is not bad at all.
@Zylon4, you still need much practice. just be patient and keep doing it.

That's great, Scar! It's always so awesome how much force you use.

I just did a short animated flash (see on the left) that i am now using as an avatar in this forum. Seems slower(i dont know how to customize it so that is is faster) than the real swf file though as i have to upload it in gif. form.
here is also the link to the real swf file.
