you don't animate anything simple thats why all of them turn out to be crap since you don't learn, you don't improve

I disagree. It mostly depends from potential. The bigger potential, the faster improving. That's my opinion.
And people can improve fast.

tests help you improve. it's a fact. if you don't do tests, you WON'T improve. (actually, you might, but it'll be a slooooooooooooooooooooow improvement) wouldn't you rather improve faster? do tests. I've never seen a test from you, so do tests.

I, too, miss zed. zed and rival were the dignity of this thread. (except when rival was faggy for a few days)

I've never made a test. I just animated. Fooled around. Never really got serious, just decided to get better.

a test you can try is a jump off a height like this
Image physics, easing and movements and if ya want a run at the end

pheonix, i watched enough animations to tell you where that jump needs a bit of help, i am not trying to act pro, i just know good animating when i see it, and when he hits the ground, make the back leg bend a little more, but also go back a little bit, adds the effect of the added weight of the drop.

His arms should go low, and try to unbend, but make it look as if hes trying to keep them up, they should go down just a little bit, unbend slightly, then when he comes back up re-bend.
