Most animations will be really short, you'll find. Especially at the start. I'll treat this as a walk test since there's little else there in the rest of it. It's good but you need to slow it down a bit. Add double the number of frames and work on easing the arms.

On more of a formatting level than animating, you don't want to use the smilies; they look noobish. And I have a moral objection to being eezehd on anyone.

Here is my walk.I have not done pivot for a long time, so, it seems really good for the stick i'm using.

The arms aren't too bad although they're overbent, but the legs need some work. You should slow the steps down a bit and make them flow together more rather than step. step. step. You need to look back at the previous frame each time to check which direction the leg's meant to be moving in and what sort of spacing you're looking for. The bottom leg needs to straighten out in the middle as well.

Most importantly, can someone cc this? (also available in my thread and "What next?")

All I have so far is CC from Mantha, which, whilst an acheivement in itself, is not enough.

I think I'll do some easing attempts before going to bed, the current dimensions I'm using for these are 300x300

-1 for randomness without any goal.

+1 for smoothing
-1 for tiny choppyness

fuck you just did easing test, but why don't you use it then!?

i wouldnt really call that good easing because its way to slow. With easing
the speed gradually gets faster then slower your animations here are just slow, they dont gain any speed so try to work on that

Better, although watch the foot placement on the front leg. I also recomend that you start moving the upper leg back while the lower leg is continuing to extend. It prevents the uneven one-step-at-a-time thing.

Thanks. Yeah, when I made it I left the wall at the bottom for the rest of the animation. I don't know what happened to it. I'm thinking it might have disappeared because it was only one pixel think and then it got shrunk to 50% and rounded down but I'm not sure.

MaxZ: There's very little there to cc. The arm is well eased and the heavy spacing's good. The crouch is good. Might need some more anticipation if he's about to jump.

Fina****ingly. Thanks Zed. And it wasn't really heavy spaced, just double frames.

Fair enough. More practice with the stick will do that for you.
