You can still do a step forward. It was just the second step that I felt was unnecessary. Also, you can start the reaction hand higher (that's the one not punching).

Lol no. Running was stiff. Animations need more easing. When the stick bend down his limb shaked alot.

I think it's pretty nice, but the run is completely uneased.
And I'm not good enough to tell if you're ready.

It's up to you really. On that animation, the run could possibly use one extra frame at full extension just for easing and stuff and the base stick could have extended his arms towards where he was hit from after he was kicked to reduce stiffness, but it really wasn't bad. If you create an animation which you think is pretty good then post it outside the beginners section and I think you'll be fine. If you make one which isn't as good as you think you're capable of then either don't post it at all or just stick it in here incase someone picks up on something you hadn't noticed.

That easing is perfect. There is nowhere you can improve on that. At the absolute most if I had to pick something I'd say take out the frame on the spinning one where it's directly down, but just to see how it looks.
Now let's see if you can apply it. Try making a bounce animation.

Its pretty good, but not perfect, try using a higher framerate and putting in more frames, it will look smoother.
If you have trouble making a .gif at say 33 fps ,then save the animation as seperate bitmap images, and ill turn it into an .swf which will play at 33 fps.
