@Excellion1498: Nice try and all that, but i recommend not doing any effect type thing until you've got the basic movements down right.
In the walk loop
a) It seemed a bit stiff, so to remedy this try moving every joint in the frame(at least as much as possible without it becoming "jerky").Basically, dont move just the elbow and the knees, but the hand and the foot too.
b) The guys feet were sliding across the ground, and I don't think people usually do that. Have him lift his feet and take actual steps.
In the punch:
a) Same stiffness problem, like i said before, move the hands and the feet too(not just the punching arms joints, ALL of them)
b) Slidey feet, you know what i'm talking about
c) There wasn't enough POWER in the punch that justified the screen shaking. To fix this, try to heavy-space the punch(i'll try and explain the concept later, or i'll link you to a tutorial),and make the whole body move more towards the direction of the punch
d) A little bit more easing would have helped both animations a great deal
And one more thing, if you'd really like to improve your pivot animations, I recommend you go to a more dedicated forum like darkdemon.org or pivotanimation.net. They can offer you much more advice and have a good ranking system that shows you where you stand(trust me, being promoted feels real good and incredibly satisfying)
Personally I'd choose pivotanimation.net, because there's a much friendlier feel over there. But DD pushes you to perform much harder, and therefore you improve faster. Your choice.
@javelin: Nice, you seem to have gotten most of the basics down, but stiffness is still a problem I think, and the fall was overeased(people fall much faster than that) . Don't make all your movements entirely symmetrical, because it looks unrealistic. The zooming in could have been made a lot smoother by easing(for example increase the stick size first by 1, then 2, then 5, then 15, then 45, and so on)
Again, as i said to excellion, join darkdemon or pivotanimation.
