Ummmm...., I'd say it'd be best for you to go to the tutorial section and read a pivot tutorial on movement and easing.

I'm not getting the image, could you upload it to a different site, like i.minus or imgur?

Strange, I'm getting it fine even though my computer often doesn't show filz.com. I'll upload it to imageshack later, but for now how do you guys like this one?

Ah, long time since I posted here I'm technically still a beginner, so I guess I'll leave something here for people to CC.

So he uses his hand as a flotation devise? Creative.

I'd say to start looking at some jump tutorials, instead of doing something like this. The easing was good, im glad the ball movement practice paid off, but the gravity was wrong. When he jumped up he jumped up backwards. There was a bit of shakiness with the arms and legs as well.

Good job though!

Might as well post something now....

i might finish this, although I'm rusty as hell

@Stickly

Actually, this is the RHG character of Colours-- I'm fighting him. And I don't really understand how the guy is moving his feet in your animation.

ok lol, well nice.

My animation has him bouncing back and forth in a fighting stance, if that is what you are asking

Oh, well I'm going to say that you might need to have him bend his legs more because his jump seems way too big for the amount he moved his legs. It looks kind of like he's sliding.

You're actually wrong there.

He isn't making that big jumps, and if he would bend the legs more it would just look ugly. There isn't anything wrong with those bounces at all.

HOWEVER,

I noticed some stiffness in it, and the transition between the first and second kick looked a bit awkward. Also, the head is a bit shaky.

Everything else was perfect. Keep at it man!

I can see what you were going for with the bounces, but if a real person was doing it they would have their back leg bent more towards the camera. I think they'd have their feet further apart too. On a 2d stick I'm not sure it's possible to make it look natural.

I don't feel like continuing it right now since it's a clusterfuck of limbs at this state e.e
Might look better when I finish it.
