Clearly we forgotten what this thread is about~Remember dearies that this thread is reserved for beginners in the ways of pivot. Anims like yours Waffles is much better suited in another thread than here really~

Just reminding everyone of course~

If we can't post our animations in here, then where are we supposed to? Like, this is one of those places where you can get fast replies and comments, if not instant. There needs to be an intermediate-ish stickied chat or something, if you ask me.

I don't really see the point in an intermediate leveled thread since if you want some feedback on it then just simply, post your anims in their own thread where it'll get deserved CnC there. I was simply stating that the reason for this thread's existence is for beginner's leveled anims and that's what it should be about~

Besides if you ask me I think the speed of replies are just the same really, whether it be on this thread or in its own~it'll much more neater that way is all, at least in my opinion~

My thread lies untouched mainly because I end up double or triple posting in it due to lack of activity, and if I were to post in it again to bump it then it'd be a double post. I'd rather come here.

Man, I really regret not animating for an entire year. Well, here's some shit for you guys to look at:

Actually, this doesn't look NEARLY as bad as it did in the animator. By the way, I would really appreciate some CnC on this. Something's bothering me about it, and I just can't tell what.

it was still choppy and stiff all of the joints/dot's need to more stiffness is caused when a dot isnt moving and it just sitting there like the part where the green guy leans back his legs arent moving choppyness is the end result of stiffness its like stopping and starting but this one was better keep practicing dude :)

You need to move every joint in every frame, otherwise it always looks unnatural. You should expect to spend a minimum of five minutes on each frame, making sure that nothing slides around on the floor, nothing moves one direction in one frame and then another direction in the next frame, and every movement starts off slowly. I would recommend not putting any effects in until you've got the basics sorted.

There was a 3 minutes speed animating challenge on DD(animate as much as you can during 3 minutes). The 3 minutes time limit stopped at frame 6, since it was good, I decided to finish it a little more. Not half bad for an animation that was done quickly, eh?
Oh, and by the way, screw that "only for beginners thread" thing. Because unless you guys sorted it out, I'll keep posting here until I release a lenghty animation which will be posted in my main thread.

Why would we say that wasn't appropriate for the beginners' thread?

Nah, I'm just screwing with you. It's great, but I'm not sure the shift back should be so long. I don't think he gets that much force from the one leg on the ground.
