its tough to get it smoother violent creator
if you use too many frames it makes it slower but if you use less frames it makes it stiff, so you need to find that perfect # of frames for each animation

just speed it up when it looks slow with loads of frames,
i know about it,
i use speed of 21 fps
my animations look fine
and stiff has nothing to do witht he amount of frames, u cleary do not know what your on about,
if you do not wqant stiff sticks, give them a back bone and use joints in realistic perdicaments,
so like get up and punch thin air, notice, u can bend u back, also, u punch at the same time, so mimic how you punch and you will have a good animation,
just smoothen it out, and speed it up,
