Alright. Could you tell me where it was stiff? and why the water wouldn't make that effect?

The back was stiff everywhere.

Water doesn't splatter randomly, it goes up with a big splash, and then some waves. and It should have more particles.

EDIT:
Just noticed, when the guy goes in the water, the height of the water is still even. it should be a little less, for he is moving all the water around him.

Oh shut up. It was stiff at the run , at the swing and at the jump in water. But the water effect is good , what else do you want from him ? Its as good as it is , your asking him for vet level effects here.

Quite stiff on the [mostly] yellow guy and very stiff on the other. The movements in the run weren't great either. I really think you should try to get the basics sorted before complex stuff like this. Try to perfect a realistic run.

IF you want to get out of beginners, you have to get everything right, right? So i'm only saying what I see is wrong.I liked it, but it wasn't perfect. And I'm not asking for vet lvl. I'm saying whats wrong, nothing more. Its up to him to make it better or ignore my comment.

Also, he chose to do the water effect. If it's vet lvl, then it has to be right.

Agreed, water effects are pretty tough to pull off, especially in Pivot so it's best to stay away from them to avoid people like Rival, lel.

Phenum, uhh.... Your animation makes me more nauseous every time I look at it, don't work on effects this early, start with basic movements such as running, punching, etc. What you should also focus on is moving EVERY part of the stick figure's body at every frame, that will make it look less stiff.

I took some time on this one and I thought it was worth showing.

Image Image

I was too lazy to put "To Be Continued" at the end so I just put Conker. Also I know that at the second sword clash the guy on the right wiggles a little bit but that's because I tried to make him not as stiff but it made it even worse then being stiff :P. Please tell me what you think and what I need to improve on.

If you want to make animations less stiff, you need to move EVERY part of the body at every frame. The dude must have a massively jacked forearm if he can spin the sword for that long. Make the spin shorter/faster, and don't put all of the power in his forearm. Going back to what I was saying before, you should move all of his body parts to show that his body is the one giving force, and not just his forearm, as that creates stiffness.

What I would do is make the guy recoil from the first sword hit, have the sword go all the way back, then lunge forward for another strike and I guess recoil again.
