First of all, i didn't want to double post. Second I'm using abyssal's walk me and him are friends and he is teaching me to walk with his walk till i make my own. Third I'm using a Tut punch till i can make my own that's the reason for tuts.

You can use his punch yes, but how is that improvement then? If you're only using someone elses things, nothing will be good, for it's actually from someone else.

A punch isn't hard to make, neither is a walk.

he's teaching you how to walk with his walk, but I don't think he's doing a good job then(sorry abyss).

I'm not blaming you. I'm simply stating that if can learn the motion of a punch like the one i used. then i can make one once i can get better. And the walking i'm pretty sure he is showing me his lazy walk which is better then any thing at this point

rival whats the point on tutorials to you? If tekushi can't get the motion of the punch and can't get used to it, it'll be harder to make a different one

I am new to this. I've never done anything close to this before in my life so yes, i suck at it. but I'll copy people to get better then make my own i guess. it seems fun I've seen abyssal pivot many times before so i have some since in what I'm doing.

There is no such thing as a lazy walk, only good - or bad walks.
He's only lazy making one then. outcome is bad.

I'm only saying: TRY to make your own stuff, no matter the outcome, because we can help you here. Is it that hard to do?!

Also: same question to you: how can you improve if you use everything of a tut?

A tut is something you use to SEE how to make the moves, but you later on make your own. I said to him that NEXT TIME he should make his own punch.

Question: why post two if you made a better one?

anyway, The back was stiff constantly.
The anim was bad because the foot slided over the floor, instead of walks.
The punches were good, but ease it a bit.

Also: try making your own punch next time, instead of copying it from a tut.

Why don't you actually point out some of the good things instead of all the bad things? How about you actually explain to them how to improve, oh wait you can not because you don't even know do you? Also telling him not to use a tutorial is counter productive, why the **** do you think that they are there? That is like saying oh look cookies and not being allowed to have any because they were not brand new.
He can learn that walk just fine, do you know why? Because it's mine he is at my house learning to animate. So why don't you shut the **** up and learn to do so your self?

I doubt you even know how to make a walk, besides I never said I was his mentor where do you get that? I also never said I gave him a lazy walk. You're just making assumptions, assumptions that are incorrect just just like assuming that telling them what is wrong will make them better. Telling whats wrong doesn't make them better all on it's own. Why don't you tell them how to fix it. But wait you are against using tutorials so how are they **** are they supposed to improve? If you don't want them to use tutorials and you don't tell them how to improve then they cannot get better, making you're criticism irrelevant.
