I suck at animating. its a known fact. i wish i could follow in the footsteps of people like Terqoiz. but I suck. what I've been looking for is someone who can either teach me or help in any way. if you or someone you know can help, just reply, ill be checking this topic. I'll wip up a quick pivot animation to show you how much i suck

@nightblade: you spelled terkoiz wrong, lol. anyways, for a mentor, just post that anim here, and if people say you know the basics at least the person i reccomend most is Abyssal. but he is already mentoring a ton of people, so he might be busy. if you know absolutely nothing at all about animating, ask people to post examples of basic things like walking and learn from them.

I know a few basics. i can make stick figures with feet and hands, like Terkoiz* but all my animations turn out too fast, the only thing i need to do, i think, is learn to make backgrounds better, and make more frames. Here's one i whipped up in about ten minutes, at first i went for something else, I cal lit Smoking.

Hey you dont have to make your own backgrounds go to droidz.org if you want to get thm or just make your own whatever works and try doing fighting scenes and walking / jumping im still learning but this is what helps me just get the physics down so when your stick jumps hes not gliding in mid air and so when he runs hes not looking like he has a broen leg when he doesnt get the point?

thanks for the backgrounds site. and walking im good at, jumping, yea they glide... running is mild...

okay well for jumping you just need to get the gravity down so just work with throwing stuff if im pushing him the wrong way let me kno guys but thats how my friends teaching me

i downloaded pivot v 2.2.5, should i get something else?
