For the walk, I didn't like the little pause between each step. Mostly cause of how nobody would ever do that in real life. But the thing wasn't bad.
And the run was pretty good, too. But you need more easing, pretty much. And the stick's torso was stiff.
And yeah, the back is too long.
Beginners, post your Pivot animations here.

for the walk: Thanks, I'll try to fix.
For the run: If I'd eased it more, it gets too slow. Thanks though.

I deleted one frame in the step, and added one last frame for smoothing.
Crit this please, someone, I'm waiting impatiently to improve next thing but wont untill critted.

@Out of Ideas: It's better without the smoothing frame. When I make my walks I would usually pick the back leg up a bit more and make the stride longer, but that's just my style and your way still looks fine. Try to have the upper leg start moving backwards before the leg is fully extended. That way you can still have the easing in there but it helps get rid of the one-step-at-a-time thing.
On the run, I would have bent the leg in the air more and extended it further at the other end.
On the whole its quite good.
@shambam: you need twice sa many frames and you need to set frame delay to 6 when you save. You have the basic movements ok but without enough frames you can't show easing and it looks choppy. Also, try to keep the foot placement consistant.

My walk is this:

I don't know if you can quite see what I mean for the front leg in that, so I'll make a slow motion front leg for you. I needed to make one for my tut anyway.
Edit: here it is

I think I know what you mean, but that's such detail that I won't be bothered with it. It's quite eased imo already.
Besides, I hate doing details wich people barely even notice.
EDIT: Now I DO know what you mean.
Well that's easier for you, for you have no feet. With feet, you need that make the right movement, and that's too detailed still to bother.
Thanks anyway though, I really apreciate it.

In that case you're using pivot 3 and you need frame rate 16 because it's really choppy. You also need much more frames. Every movement needs easing. You also need to try to move every joint in every frame. The reaction was good and the tremour looked alright though.

That was a 12 frame animation it would seem...
