yea I do that sometimes, but its a real hassle, because you have to change EVERY FRAME AFTER THE ONE YOU EDIT :(
annd heres another beam test. I changed it slightly, see if you can tell. this is apart from the fact the beams are diff...

The Beam is Longer And The Coat Stays In the air a little longer.....

How did you do that flash effect I wanna use it in my dodgeball animation

I know! I know! he used a big stick to make the background look black. then he gradually lightened it.

But I Twied That And it looked UGLY

I just looked at his anim in gimp. When he made the background black, he also made all the other sticks a darker version of the beam color. As he lightened the background, he darkened the sticks. Nice effect, really.

yea. with the first one for the flash, I only made the guy go from light grey to black. Then I changed it. I used the beams colour and divided it by 4. The beam's natural colour has a Luminosity of 120. The first frame The GUYS colour has Lum of 90, then 60 then 30 then Black :)

oh can someone post a beam test? because I really want to know where I need to ease, cuz I have noo idea. I know Zed said to ease everywhere, but where the hell does it start and end?!!! :/

aaand heres another easing test :) but now I have absolutely no idea whats wrong. I looked through the whole thing. It looks right. but... its still not realistic :S

Yea I Drew All Of That.....It Was Hard As Ever

The Glowing Ball is Trick pretty much tricking the eye......I Really Made That Up So It's My Own ORIGINAL EFFECT :D.....Im calling it the ripple effect :3

So Heres What I Did

The Ball Started At 10 Pixels for 5 frames(If thats what there called)

Then It Started to grow rapidly...So It became 30 Pixels

Then 10 agin

Then 50 Pixels

Then 20 Pixels

Then 70

Then 20

And at the end I Did 75,80,90,80,100,90,100

And That's All There is to it...... yea I know WTF!!!

Now For The Ball Thing

Heres The Issue Actually Think About Gravity and In Real Life.....
Would A Ball Stay In The Air For That Long....

Also your over easing it you have to even out Spacing and easing.

Easing Is THe Act Of Acceleration and Deceleration(Fast and slow).

And My Example of spacing is how far apart your STK gets from onion skin

but I got stuck on the fighting test and made a dash one :)
i made everything in it except for the cloaked dude (who can be got via the DMP1 at droidz by the name of cloaked in the nuetral fighters folders. :P)

Ball Blur.......It Didnt exactly come out how I imagined it....But it's alright
