just a question...
when you make a somersault, where should the pivot be?
i mean, should the body move around the head or around the pivot point?
(talking about a wide open sault, not a "roll in" one).
Beginners, post your Pivot animations here.

You need to do it around the centre of gravity. It's a little difficult to work out where that point is so you more or less have to just do what you think looks right.

Ah. Uh. Yeeeeaaaaah. Ima probs have to get someone else to flash it together for me. I was hoping to be able to learn how from tutorials, and if I had a version of flash in English rather than Spanish I probably could, but as it is my sheer incompetence has overwhelmed me.

Looks quite nice, although I'd have made the body fall the the left and fold the knees over completely underneath him. Depends how much resistance there was in the knee joint. Pretty good.

Someone with experience talk to me: how much does blood improve an animation if it's only done just passably? I ask because my samurai comp entry would be stupidly complicated to add blood to and I'd probably mess it up but I can give it a go if people think it's worthwhile.

Well, the poorly done blood distracts me from the poorly done animations. Mission accomplished?
