It has good concept and you have the essential idea for movements. Now add in a couple frames in between what you have already so it's is all one fluid motion. (easing)

That's not too bad. Even has a recoil on the gun and some bullets flying out, which is nice. Now I think you should apply that same concept of recoil to the stick that fell on the ground. Additionally, I know it's tough, but you'll have to be careful about the positioning over your sticks when redrawing them. The guy firing the gun is sliding forward a bit. But this is a nice job for a first animation. I hope you've continued these past 2 months.
