I saw some girl in there, first time I played it before I blew the bomb she was being all flirty and saying how she liked young rich men. (What caught my attention was that she was barefoot) I blew the bomb and never found her again, I had some love letter, tried talking to the guy who wrote it but he wouldn't talk so I just killed everyone in the tower, Tenpenny was first with a combat shotgun shell to the leg amputating it.

I still never found that girl. :C

So now the ghouls rule the tower now. Hooray.

Do you gain anything from killing everybody in the tower?

I'm tempted to do it.

Oh god I cant quit this game. Every sidemisson is detailed and they all actually have story to them, I wish you could still roam around after the ending.

I found the endings a bit of a let down, to be honest. I was expecting more, with the whole story build-up. Each ending is similar to the rest and I just felt a bit dissapointed.

There was all this drama and tension and it ends like that. I'm level 16 at the moment. 4 more levels should be easy.

So is this game any good? I mean, I heard you really have to sit down and take your time, since it is at a whole different pace then other top games (Gears, saints, where you get RIGHT into the action) many say the beginning is boring.

Also said, best to buy it at like chrismas, since then you played all the heavy games O_o?

worth a buy? And is there a mian story, or only unlimited free roaming?

On PC all i can find is Fallout 2 since i play on Steam
They have all updated games pretty much.

Edit: Right.. never mind, i got confused with Fallout 3 and Farcry 2.

Easily my GOTY so far. So worth a buy.
The whole concept of the game is well laid out and it just all seems to flow at the perfect pace. It holds a sense of realism, even though there are 7ft mutants built like a brick shithouse running around with sledgehammers. I would choose to play this game over any over in my collection. For me, it's the perfect game. It has basically everything I could want, from a customizable character, be it appearence-wise or attitude-wise, to blowing up cities.

The beginning isn't really boring, it just depends on what you do. My first event, after leaving the vault, was killing some bitch and getting 300 bottlecaps for it. The start of the game itself isn't exactly boring either, it adds more character and a more interesting atmosphere to your character and characters around you.
I'd say buy it as soon as you can. It's just got something about it.

I see, thanks. The things is, I just don't think I will like, a ultra open world and I just move through it (Oblivion like) I also like it if I'm kinda sent a way of the main story or w/e (Like, a more linear) But this is massive exploring.

So Idk yet.

Let me clear things up.

This is not a Fallout game in the traditional sense of Fallout games, BoS and that FT game excluded because they sucked balls.

However, this is not oblivion with guns, this is a mixture of Oblivion and Old Fallout, and while it comes off great, I can see how most of you will be disquieted by the great looming silences and lack of a one man army tactic.

Why?

BECAUSE ITS ****ING FALLOUT THATS WHY YOU ****ING RUSH INTO A BATTLE YOU GET KILLED PLAN THAT SHIT OUT, DONT MESS UP AND REMEMBER A FREAKING NUCLEAR BOMB HIT THE ****ING PLANET SO THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE 28378273827382 PEOPLE ON ****ING AMERICA.

Also, Level 20's Explorer perk rocks your socks.
