I mostly like old-school rap, like Doug-E Fresh, Dr. Dre's old stuff and basically anything around or before TuPac.

The only newer rapper I like is DMX. Too bad, NOONE I like is on there, because frankly, I think TuPac sucks. I have no idea why all of a sudden he got famous after he had been dead for 4 or 5 years, but I think it's just stupid.

Btw, my favorite Rap Song of all is Ladidadi by Doug-E Fresh. It's got the first recorded use of human beatboxing with rap over it. Very nice. And it has some lines that are repeated even now, such as "but I got what it takes to rock the mic RIGHT!" and "Ricky, Ricky, Ricky, can't you see? Sometimes your words just hypnotize me.....".

Everyone on that list sucks. Why? I hate mainstream rap, but then, that's just my opinion. Out of the VERY few hip-hop/rap artists i like(i am a metal man, but i do believe most rap can have potential, though only a few in my opinion have done it successfully).

Mf Doom, the guy who helped rap on the gorrillaz demon days album in the song feel good inc. Is a great rapper. Fort minor are a good rap group. Rage against the machine, which are a rap-metal band and arent exactly rap, do count in both genres, cause they have rap sounding songs and metal sounding songs(which either way, they still are rapping, but the way it sounds is so loud and aggressive and accompanied by loud guitar, drums, and bass to sound like
rock!). They're good rappers(though they are rap metal).

Dr. dre is okay, and eminem sings a few songs that give him more a white boy feel(after all, no matter how hipping he is, he still has a more aggressive, stylised feel in his music than most rappers), which i kinda like, cause he makes rap seem rockin', but still, neither are my favorites, so i voted other.

Hmmm. I voted for lil wayne, but I like ludacris better. Morr original and creative. 50 centsa sell out bitch who doesnt even like his own music.

I hate Young Joc, and the beat on its goin' down sucks sweaty, pimply, man ass. I listen to whatever sounds good to me. (unlike young joc)
