I wouldn't. And I live 45 minutes away from Sac. Right near where the housing crash happened (Stockton). Our economy is in the dumps, our Basketball team (Kings) sucks and the two closest NFL teams (49ers, Raider) also suck. Not to mention that the Kings will probably be leaving soon.
It isn't all bad, the weather is nice and if you want to find a house they are probably cheap...
