I Would first sneak out a window, and then get back into the house when the burglar is in a different room than the kitchen. I would sneak towards the Knives that are behind the toaster oven. take the the biggest and the smallest. And then i would try to ambush him or rethink what I'm doing and just run since there's a good chance i could get killed.

To be completely honest, I'd either run to the neighbors house and call the police, or grab the power saw. Depending on how much I've had to drink.

Then, because the power has been cut and I am assuming it is dark, I will employ some ninjutsu and perform a takedown out of ****ING NOWHERE. Then, if he struggles, beat him around a bit.

In all seriousness, probably hide, and try to leave the house. If I had to, I'd get a knife or something to defend myself with.

First I'l try to find some way out to call the police or something, and if not I'll grab my short sword (yes I do know how to use it, I took iaido lessons for 2 years) hide behind a door and when the person comes around stab him with it, and hope that I didn't kill him. Unless of course he has a gun, in which case I shall try climbing out of the window or hide.
