Quote from WartoothAlso, if you want some real testing help, you can use me. I'm a big mac user.
Have you had a chance to download Stykz and play around with it yet? If not, I'd suggest getting it and trying it out - beta 1 is currently available and beta 2 will be out by the end of this weekend (includes a bunch more stuff and has nailed a lot of bugs from beta 1).
The additional features are:
- Ability to import Pivot 2 .stk files.
- Can export a sequence of frames as a set of PNG or GIF images.
- Added a "need to save" indicator in the title bar of windows (currently a diamond) to let you know that you have a doc that hasn't been saved yet.
- Added a "Move to Center Stage" menu item to move any selected figure(s) to the center of the stage
- Added "Revert to Saved" menu item to let you quickly flip back to the version of the current document before you'd made any changes to it
- Added "go to folder" and "refresh" buttons on the Library palette so you can more easily move .styk figure files into and out of the Library

Actually, it's been moved forward a week, so the Win Beta is due 2/21 (or earlier if I can make it happen). Here's the current timeline (red bar is what's been done so far):

(BTW: This is something I have in my sig on Droidz and DD and I've been updating it every week. If it's something OK to do here, I'll do the same.)

The only real problem I have found is when I try to add an item I've made into the library, in this case a gun, I highlight the whole weapon, but when I right click and press "add to library" it only puts the barrel of my gun in there. I have more issues, but I don't want to spam this thread, so email?

Sure, or PM, you could use the Send Feedback option in the Help menu - that goes directly to me (and if you want an email response back, including your email addy).

Might as well use Pivot. It has a more imaginitive name and it actually works.

Does this mean you have used Stykz and it didn't work for you? If so, please share what problems you ran into... perhaps it is simply a lack of understanding how the program works; if so, I can clarify things. And if you *haven't* used Stykz, then you wouldn't know if it "actually works" or not... or were you simply trying to say that it doesn't exist on Windows yet?
BTW, I know most of you are waiting on the Windows Public Beta (which I'm still on track for delivering), but for those of you who do Mac as well, I just made available Public Beta 2 of the Mac version of Stykz at the Stykz web site. Full release notes on everything that's been added/changed/fixed can be found here, and of course everything on the list will be in the Windows Public Beta as well, since all versions of Stykz come from the same source code.
Enjoy!
