Waltz with Basir is the Golden Globe winner for best foreign film. Because it's foreign AND independent, there are no theaters playing it anywhere close to me. But I just drove 60 ****ing miles to see it and it was worth it.

The movie is mind numbingly powerful. The movie is entirely done with a mix of 3d and flash. The style is amazing, and every frame looks like it could be framed. The movie is about an Israeli soldier who is trying to remember his past, since his own mind is trying to forget the massacre in Beirut.

my theater always has really shitty small films. though they never have any good small films there, though hopefully they get it since it ****ing won a golden globe.

Just finished watching it, the ending was...just, I don't know man but it was something. I had my earphones on and all I can hear was the screaming.

Thanks for telling us about it though, seriously that was indeed a powerful movie.
