Quote from Hermit SolmuOuch, harsh guys.
They all definitely need work. The arms backward thing works for an over dramatic, intending to clash type of scenario, but probably not so much for a morning stroll.
Something you should realize is that you shouldn't have a cookie-cutter running 'style'. First, work the basics. Watch someone running and replicate that motion exactly. Personally, I went to the extent of video taping myself running in a horizontal path across the camera, and literally tracing it in Flash.
In any case, get the basics down. Once you have that, you can adjust/stylize that basic run into whatever you need for the situation. If I'm sprinting after a speeding vehicle, I'm gonna run a helluva lot different than if I was taking a lap in gym class. The point is, get the basics first, then move into the advanced stuff.
A bit less general advice? More frames; a lot more frames. Keep in mind the fact that he won't hold every position for the same amount of time/ move at a consistent speed. Determine when he will be the fastest, and put the least frames in that motion segment, and where he will be the slowest, and put the most there. This will help add realism, and in time, anticipation, which makes your animation not only good, but enjoyable as well.
