How about a computer debate, for a change?

What program is the best antivirus? Don't base your arguments on price, I'm talking about functionality only.

"What program is the smallest, but offers the best security?" is the question we're aiming at answering.

Nod32/Eset. Takes up almost no CUP and is just. I don't know. I checked on sites and mostly came out on top. I download and do a lot of stuff, and its simply the best in my eyes. Can't really explain, but it stopped things that others couldn't. And I tried out A LOT. Doesn't block everything and says its a virus while its not just to make the program look good, like avast.

I honestly don't know. The only ones I've tried are Norton (shit), AVG - maybe the best free one? and Avast - which was OK, a little hard to work out, and it kept crashing on me for some reason.

Bryando, I think you mean "CPU".

The term you would use is "processor time".

NOD32 and Kaspersky, but Kaspersky has some problems with cracks and keygens and other unrecognised material.

Kaspersky is great. It does real time scanning and does a good job of containing malicious files.

Kaspersky couldn't delete some malware on my computer though. I had to outsource to another security program.

Well if you set a paradigm like that, wouldn't this make for a short debate?
