Well, the main reason why Im moving to Maya is that my 3ds max trial was lagging, my computer isnt bad, It can run GTA 4 quite well..and Maya doesnt lag.
And Maya is better for the animation, I like it more. The interface is quite comfortable, Max isnt bad software it is really good for modeling, but since I want to be an animator I go with Maya.

BUT The cursors in Maya are terrible, imo :D I really hate them, I have to get used to the :)

That was my opinion, but generally, it depends just on you, what you like more, you can create awesome animation/graphics with both.

Meshsmooth or Turbosmooth I've never known any difference between those two :D
Pretty good but there something weird going on with the polygons near front lights and front wheels.Still pretty decent :)

I hope you will animate it :D

meshsmooth calculates a smooth withouth addin additional polygons, turbosmooth calculates the smooth by doubling the amount of polygons.

for some reason turbosmooth runs smoother with higher iterations.

yeah it's still wip so I have alot to create/tweak :)

I won't animate it, just going to make a still render, if I would render the animation it would take a couple of days :P

but I always wanted to try and rig a car. it's hard tho and i have to find a decent tutorial first.
