As some of you may know, the US had an election within the past few months. There's quite a bit of wild speculation over what happened on that day(s). Many suffice to say that Barack Obama did not win and is not concurrently our president.

My view on these matters is that I think Obama did actually win the election and is America's president.

There is a flaw in this thread that you have made, pagan. That is that you think that there is only one side to this die, that either Obama won the election or he won the election. I feel that there is a difference between someone winning the election and someone losing the election. A winner may be predictable, but that doesn't mean it's predetermined. To say so implies that there was some guiding intellect, such as a deity or a super-powered alien. So I think there are three options. Either it is science, everything is the matrix, or god is truth and jesus his son reborn.

If you're trying to imply that Obama lost the election, I disagree with your prerogative. I think that this is incorrect and your assumptions are flawed. In that sense, I maintain that Mr. Obama is the president. Do you think he wasn't elected? If so, I believe that you are misinformed about that matter. In any case, if he hadn't have been elected to office who did instead of him? Who is the president if it isn't Obama?

John McCain ran against Barack Obama in the election (see link). Did he win the election? I honestly don't know. Anyone have a source? Obama won the election but I don't know if McCain did. Do you think McCain won?

Obama is the president. A majority of American civilians voted for Barack.
