Quote from SlIpKNoT_MaGGoTTurns out it was a rabid pack of Vampire Wolfs. Iv'e seen this before.. its not pretty. They sucked him dry. (no homo) But what do you expect from em', eh? See, with Vampire Wolfs, they can fly, because their part Bat. One must have over fed and let one paw slip to the snow. No problem for them though. They just flew off after they had their feast.
****.. strike all of that. I know who did it.. the VEGANS! D:<
LOL..you mean.."Vampire Wolves"
Anyways, It looks like something shredded the deer's fur and ****ed the hell out it. Maybe a "Yeti" xD or something with sharp claws and teeth, that can eat through its body.

All the print I can see are either circular (walking sticks right?) or deer prints. So it must have be carnivores deer, no doubt about it.

Can we please ban Slipknot Maggot. Anyway, it has been attacked by some wolves. They can come back for it later you know.

It died and birds got to it, man. Look at the hair everywhere, and the way the deer was eaten in little areas. Birds pick meat off areas that have already been picked off of.
Or it could have been weak or sickly and got attacked by birds. That explains the hoof prints.

Or, it needed to fart but held it in for too long and his intestines blew up.
No, I don't have any idea, actually.

He was attacked elsewhere.
He walked almost unconscious.
He died.
You might have some blood trails around no?
If you don't probably the snow covered it.
And maybe some animal just passing by ticked on it.

You didn't know that? lol
I agree with the people saying it was a wolf attack, or coyote, or whatever similar carnivore is in that area.
EDIT AND OFF-TOPIC: I'm sorry, but I have to say something. Steyene, not everyone needs banned because they were trying to be funny.

Hey, I saw this on Unexplained Mysteries! But yeah that looks natural, like coyote got it or it was hunted by something larger. I dunno know though thats only a theory.

What animal walks away from his slaughter scene far enough for it not to be obvious in sight (I'm guessing the finders aren't blind and such) while having a gash the size of the empire state in his side and missing half of his head?
I find the birds most likely. Either that or carnivores deer.

I'd go for the carnivore deer.
And who knows how long that deer was there.
Edit: nevermind if it was a trail cover up, the deer would have some snow over him.
