Habit and boredom. And the fact the is SPP were a drug it would be the most addicting drug ever.

Yeah. I've tried other forums, it just isn't the same there. It might be all the bonding I've done with some members on MSN. Haha, that sounded gay

SPP is like a bad toe fungus. Everytime I scrape it off it grows back.

Because this and of are the only good forums that have ever existed, even if of is no more.
I go to other sites on occasion, but I just never care at all about what happens there. I sift through threads, and never find something that I would actually want to post in.
also, addictions and habits
oh and yeah, paperclip changed my join dayte

Addiction, habit and first forum I ever joined. Well second really if you consider SP. I started animating with GIMP, when I was in year 7, so 6 years ago. There is just some atmosphere about this place that makes it completely different to anywhere else.

Oh yeah, it was the first site I joined as well

I did lurk at SP for a while when both SP & SPP where up.

I haven't been here for extremely long but mostly habit. I'll forget about it for a month and come back and post a couple times. To be honest this place has mellowed quite a bit.....since I joined...its not as exciting, not so many flame wars or extremely funny threads.

Quote from STUFFI probably would've found stickpage a long time ago if it weren't for me not having internet until I was in 7th grade, which was when I actually registered here. Registered during the summer of 2005 and like a week later, SP was down so I re-registered after a few months in August as "teh_wooz". I was flamed multiple times so I left and came back December as me!!
The reason why I can't leave is because when I first discovered stickpage, I had nothing to do at home, because the only RPG I've played at the time was Runescape and I had quit Runescape to animate. So during the time period between August 2005 - June 2006 (?), I was actually animating and trying to better myself, but shortly after, I got bored of animating and I started to just comment on Flash animations rather than make them myself.
Now at this point, I discovered first person shooters and I became less active, but I'm one of those guys that gets pissed off very easy when I die a lot consecutively in games, so every time I died in the FPS games, I'd slam my keyboard, leave the game and head over to SPP. Around 2007, I started to stop animating altogether and started to post in Main excessively and that's when I started to really get to know more people outside of the animating circle in this forum.
I come on and I check the Main section of the forum first, to see if anyone has an interesting story to tell or if someone's insulting someone else. I mean, what's the point in "leaving?" It's like creating a barrier for yourself to never go to the site again and it's not easy. I check up on Facebook, SPP, and Yahoo! daily to see updates and it's just a habit now. I don't think it's going to go away any time soon although I've been averaging only 4-7 posts per day now when I used to post around 16-20 times a day.
My post count used to go up pretty fast, but it's been in the 6000s for the past year and a half.
I don't know why I typed this up.
I joined SP, got flamed to the point I wanted to leave, but then I thought I should give animating one more shot. So I saw Stuff's amputation animation and I felt a sense of hope, so I pm'd him to learn that he was an awesome guy.
So, Stuff single handedly kept me here, which could be a good thing.... or bad... Although with time I stopped sending him wave after wave of pm's.
And runescape was kick ass until I lost all my stuff in the wilderness. >_>

I actually was browsing Stickpage.com before 6th grade, so in 2005 almost. Watching killing spree and such.

I stay here because I think that it will be interesting for people to see me grow up and become more mature. The same goes for why I stay for everyone else, I like watching people mature.

That's a good question.

I'm trying to hook up with hot single women in the local area for no strings attached sex.
