We haven't had a straight-up evolution debate in a while.
So, is the theory of biological evolution by means of natural selection true?
Are humans the result of evolution as well?

I think we're going to have to start paying people to debate.

short answer: nobody can know for sure.
But even some religious anti-evolutionists believe in natural selection. So I don't think natural selection will be argued against, though evolution starting life off from nothing, and apes evolving in to man might be. There is proof of evolution working today, so who's to say it can't have happened millions of years a go? There are also fossils of ape-men, and that has got to mean something. It's a vast area, and I don't think I can be bothered to go into all the details of why I believe in evolution, rather I'll just quote replies and answer, as that's what I do best. Evolution is still a theory, though it's getting closer to fact day by day, and anyone who doesn't believe in it is just clinging at straws.

Well, these poll results are pretty one sided.

I wasn't there back in the day to see what we were, compared to what we are now, so I don't know for sure, and neither do you.

yet you put a definitely not option...
...and Jeremy didn't even use definitely in his post, and he didn't spell it wrong. Why in quotes?
EDIT: never mind I figured it out.

a gross over simplification, but i have believed in evolution ever since my daddy dad dad told me birds were descendants of the dinosaurs.
and looking through all his books and stuff on birds (he loves those birds) as a little kid, i never looked back.

Fun fact: Definitely is the hardest word to spell in the universe.

Yep, and we're the products of it.
There's too much evidence for it to ignore it and it's practically been proven.

Too right. I can't even tell you how many times I've spelled it wrong. I literally had to memorize that word. It's just definitively if you remove the "iv".

I learned to spell it wrong in the right way so that firefox can recognize the word I'm trying to spell so it can correct me.
That's when you know you are lazy.
