If you were any good at Actionscript you wouldn't need to use our FLA files so then everyone could use music of their choice. Just saying.

Decompiling each entry is extra work. We don't have time for that, it's much easier for the compilers to just get the .flas.
Edit: Haha, 3.000! =)

You don't need to de-compile to load SWF files into an already running timeline. It is only a simple few lines of code to get the desired effect. But if you think copying and pasting everything is easier then so be it.

I didn't say I thought it's easier. I just don't know that actionscript. Besides, why not keep it simple and classic? =P To be honest that's the method I trust best, I've done lots of collabs that way. It doesn't take that much.

The problem with using that actionscript to load the .swf from a direct link is that the place each file is hosted on may be down or something. Then the collab would have missing parts. It's best just to have them all in one place and not have to worry about other issues. Giving him the .fla would work just fine and dandy, with less risk and all that.

Yeah well there are downsides to everything. Hosting the SWFs would be good and bad in various ways. It would certainly be bad if Hawk planned on submitting the finished collab to another portal. I'm only trying to think of ways to improve the entries. When I compiled Anitomica Returns I used the method Hawk is referring to and it worked out...but it was extremely messy. Good luck to the compilers either way!

@ alec123: What do you mean, man? I downloaded them and they work for me. O_O I don't know how come they don't work for everyone else? I'll re-upload them tomorrow, now I have to go.

So, I'm not the inter collaborater?
