Okay, now this question is so hypothetical it's dumb, but I'm intrigued by your answers.

Which religion has the "best rules", as in which religion's views and morals do you think are most ethical or morally right? Which is most scientifically accurate?

And no bull' about Atheism being a religion. It's a religious view, yes, but I'm interested in which religion you think is most believeable and which you would follow based on moral views. Which religion has the most ethical rules? Which is most scientifically accurate or realistic? Yes, a mass murderer can be Catholic or Jewish, but clearly that's against Catholic and Jewish rules. Which religion's rules are best to follow (in your opinion)?

A Guide to Religion (and some others which aren't religion but I put them in for luls):

* Taoism: Shit happens.
* Confucianism: Confucius say, "Shit happens."
* Buddhism: If shit happens, it isn't really shit.
* Zen Buddhism: What is the sound of shit happening?
* Hinduism: This shit has happened before.
* Catholicism: If shit happens, you deserve it.
* Protestantism: Let shit happen to someone else.
* Presbyterian: This shit was bound to happen.
* Judaism: Why does this shit always happen to us?
* Creationism: God made all shit.
* Capitalism: That's MY shit.
* Communism: It's everybody's shit.
* Feminism: Men are shit.
* Idolism: Let's bronze this shit.
* Jehovah's Witnesses: *Knock, knock* Shit happens.
* Hare Krishna: Shit happens, rama rama.
* Rastafarianism: Let's smoke this shit!
* Agnostic: Shit might have happened; then again, maybe not.
* Atheism: No shit.

Jehova's witnesses without a doubt. I went to a couple of their meetings, and they're much better than people think. Their only problem is going door to door, all the other crap about them isn't true. They have good morals and a good world view.

I think that atheists have the best morals, simply because they contain no requirement for divine back-up.

I misunderstood.

Anyway, assuming his list of "religions" is just bullshit (Communism?) I'll say The Church of the Subgenius, which teaches that one must always pursue "slack", and live your life by the model set by J.R. Bob Dobbs, the Slack Master.

Way to put yourself on the elitist stand there, Mr.ILoveMyselfBecauseI'mAtheist. How about, everyone's morals are different and you can't just lump a whole group of people together and say they have the "best" morals over everyone else.

EDIT: Also, that original post is pretty darn funny, especially the communism and capitalism part.

Oh, sorry, perhaps I should have said "I thaink that atheism is the best based on views and morals."

But as you have stated many times, atheism is not a belief, it is a lack of one. Being and atheist doesn't make you more or less inclined to do good or bad things. It's just as easy a mass murderer be an atheist as a charity worker being one. The correct thing to say would be "Atheism has no views on morals, so I should judge people as individuals instead of continually putting people into groups."

If your athiest, then you just do everything of your own account. You don't hav the constant fear of being damned or killed by karma or any of that **** because it won't matter anyway. You are free to choose.

Thats why I'm one. l_l
