First sig ever

So I've never really used photoshop.. But I wanted to make a sig.. cause sigs are cool. So I wasted my evening figuring this out. Anyways, what do you guys think?

It's not bad for a first attempt, but the render doesn't really mix with the effects, which is what it's all about. The rest of it seems to be a background to the render instead of part of it, and the flecks over him also look like just that; put over him without merging.

I take it you're into that random boxing anime at the moment hehe

These black fade-outs are not good, at least if they eat such vast amount of the image. It breaks down the flow abruptly.

The first one was made mostly with a couple of various brushes, but then it looks as if you got lazy and just made the image fade to black.

The second one is a bit better, but I don't like the composition (maybe the render should have been centered) and of course, the fade ruined everything.

I also would not recommend the usage of those thick borders.

Keep practicing, you're going to be good.
