Its fairly smooth, but still looks odd. Stiff I think, the movements look unnatural.

Kinda stiff, and I guess the wind thingies didn't work all that well.

I think he's making it so stiff, because he doesn't want it to be wobbly, but man, loosen up a bit :D, then it would look nice.

Does he use line or brush? That might (randomly) be the problem

brush, i tried to make it an open palm style. that generally is quite stiff.

More easing and less stiffness would help you a lot.

Well the root to some of your stiffness is that you don't draw the WHOLE stick out on every frame, I noticed on some frames you only redrew the body. redraw the whole stick on every frame..

I liked the palm effect though..

KEEP IT UP!

lol KD i like how you say KEEP IT UP at the end of every post, i can always tell when its u :D

but maybe try lowering the framerate a bit until you get better, then bring it back up in a while. i jumped right into 24 fps, and my first anims SUCKED!

I say things like : "KEEP IT UP", and "NICE WORK", to give people a reason to keep animating after the criticism I gave them, and it gives them a compliment.

What do you think is a good beginner frame-rate?
