About a year ago I was wondering what smoking was like. My dad found out, and he decided I could.
So he filled my mouth with like 5 cigarretes.... When I breathed in I threw up vigourously.
Put me off them for life.

My biggest beef with smoking is the smell. It smells bad and everything you own will smell horrible too.
But even if it didn't smell, I wouldn't smoke because I have no good reason to start. I am perfectly content with a smoke-free life.

I've been thinking about the whole anti-smoking thing and I think these commercials and school assemblies are going about it the wrong way. I don't think scaring people with facts about cancer and lowered life expectancy will actually get people not to smoke since most people nowadays think they're invincible and think nothing of death until it actually hits home. If you really want to get people not to smoke anymore, you should tell them about how ugly it will make them look, sound, and smell. I'm pretty sure those superficial bubblehead gossip-girl types will put down their cigarettes in no time when they found out they'll get wrinkles faster than they're breasts will develop and their voices will sound like Isaac Hayes choking on a chicken bone.
