Background: (skip if you don't give a shit)
My tablet broke in January so my sister lent me her tablet PC. well she quit her job to work at a better place of working, so the Pfizer-owned tablet had to be relinquished. Now I'm shopping for a new computing thingy.
I'm going to college for Cinema/animation and I need a good tablet PC to effectively do the projects I'll be doing.
Why a Tablet PC? Because after experimenting with one for 3 months I've decided that the screen interface is far better of an experience for me than that of a tablet USB on a regular computer.
Why a laptop? Because I'm going to college and need a laptop for note taking, portableness, etc etc etc.
Why a PC? As much as I love iMovie and Final Cut Pro PCs are about half the price and are much better in my opinion.
Query:
-I need the following machine:
-Tablet PC Penabled or Digitized by Wacom
-PC Laptop
-Good specs (unshameful RAM, Hard drive, Graphics Card and other things)
-Good screen size (12.1 inches seems like the normal one)
-Lowest cost possible
-I have no idea how to know this, but ****, you might. The wacom digitizer would preferably work in Adobe products for sensitivity recognition.
So please post suggestions you may have for computing devices that I might purchase.
I've searched for 2 hours and the best I found was the $1549 one in the following link:

edit: and don't say HP tx2z or tx2500z because I've looked into it, and they don't look good for a few reasons.

Have a flick through here: http://www.tabletpcreview.com/
If you find any you like do some research on it and just use that for finding type of tablet PC, tbh, I've used a tablet PC and a Mac variation and I found them both rather lacking in brute force for running programs or having photoshop and flash, for example, open at the same time.
Why not buy a laptop and one of these http://www.touchscreens.com/products-addon.html

Well, If I were you I wouldnt buy it, I think it sucks, I watched a few videos on youtube and it really sucks, or the guy cant use it.
Here are some reasons
- it isnt precise
- its pretty weird to use/un comfortable
- your display keeps moving (when you push)
here is something I found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUwAtDPHItY
I lol'd when he missclickled and opened that media player :)

Still, do you really want to draw like that ? I dont want to draw with my hand straight
(if you dont understand my grammar)

Anyways, if you like drawing like this, you can have a look at this cool pen http://www.gmmtechnoworld.com/servlet/the-176/Navisis-PNF-Duo-Laptop/Detail

I think what he meant was that if it senses your hand AND the pen, you cannot rest your hand on the side while you draw. Making it awkward as you try to draw without touching with your hand.

I decided to go with the cintiq by wacom.
Best of both worlds.
