And not bringing anything exciting or well done at all. Well, i wanted to just tone myself up again so i did a punch test, which i believe (and so will you) that it's pretty shabby. But man, i have major problems with movements no matter what i'm animating. The reaction from the other stick was terrible how he went through the air but i always have this urge to do it like that and it turns out looking like a preschool drawing. Anyways, here's the animation.

Also, he resizes like a mofo..it's annoying but it happens.

Oh trust me, there is much wrong. Resizing on the stick getting punched and i have a really unsteady hand with that pen tablet so i have a hard ass time drawing lol. But i'm working on this some more tonight...see how it goes.
And for any more advice besides what the obvious is, like how can i smooth the punch more and make it look as if there is more force and the reaction of the second stick is what i'm mainly focusing on right now.

Yeah, you can't even see the obvious.

What you need is anticipation and easing the most. This will give it force and smoothness.

I don't have a tablet, and I seem to suffice.

Anyway, Here are some of the things I have seen wrong.

The feet of your stick slid around on the floor. If you'd care to notice that in future, and draw you feet in exactly the same place when you mean them to, your animations will look more professional.

Your punch lacked force, this was mainly due to the fact that the anticpation was not enough, but was also heavily reliant on the fact that he didn't follow through with the punch, and went back to his orginal pose too quickly.

Your enemy's reaction was quite delayed, and the movement of him falling to the ground was not up to scratch. Also, you should have finished it with him lying on the floor, and not on his head.

Also, you need to put more time into your animations.

Pratice is the name of the game.

(also plain shifter, stop spamming up the flash section)

Needs some easing on the fall, and maybe make him fall fully?
the punch was ok, but I can't really tell what couldve been better about it.

Yeah, he was coming near the edge of the screen so i didn't know what to do about the body. Also, the way he was going through the air like that i have no idea how i could land him, maybe the heads aren't placed properly, i don't know but it always looks goofy when i'm trying to make my stick fall.

Okay, wow wow wow.
The physics need a lot of work, with that kind of punch he probably wouldn't go high into the air at all, his body shouldn't make a rainbow motion like you have put here. He should fall straight down almost, slide a little.
Also a VERY basic thing if you were to throw a punch, I don't know about you but, my feet down spaz out on the ground when I punch, his back leg almost always needs to cross the front leg, and the front foot needs to stay pretty stationary.
Also as it has been mentioned, FOLLOW THROUGH with the punch, make his arm kinda be there for a while, and when you do take it back, ease it back, don't just speed through so it goes back..
Well that's all, keep animating, practice is all it takes.
