This is what I know about it so far
Strictly online, 256 player, with other game modes that go down to 64 players.
Every login will be given the oppurtunity to choose one of 3 teams, each with very unique weapons and stats.
Constant framerate of 30 fps
Players on each team are broken up into individual squads of 8, each leaded by an officer, with an officer above that officer, and so on.

Graphics look good, and gameplay too. My fear is that it will be too big for its own good. What do you think?

Its not bad when you consider the amount of people on a server at one time. I was suprised when they announced they could support even that framerate. Though I am positive the game will not come without it's fair share of lag.

Don't most FPS's come at 30fps?

I know that Halo does 60, but Shadowrun did 30 and it looked fine when it wasn't lagging the **** out.

Halo and COD4 are 60 fps I believe. I know for sure that Cod4 is 60.

Anyway, I don't think this game will get anywhere. The gameplay trailer showed like 4-5 people behind one piece of cover. I think they're overshooting the target "fun" range of players.

You might be right about that, Dudeman, I'm just hoping they make the maps big enough.
Keep in mind that there will also be much smaller games, But I think the smallest it goes is 64.

I still can't believe there will be a 256 players FPS.

It's too good to be true.
I smell big servers that will need pay for play.

might be because i'm a pc, but if a game isn't getting 60+ fps, i usually won't play it.

Standard console frames per second are usually either 30 or 60 because it syncs with the TV refresh rate. PC monitors don't have a refresh rate, so any fps is possible. However I get 20 fps on my pc so I don't get that option, Mr. Rich guy.

I still don't know what to make of this game. They should just release a video of an actual game.

They do have refresh rates, but faster then a game could possibly output. So it doesn't really matter. You can find monitors with anywhere from 60 Hz (min) to 200 Hz.
