I personally need a 12inch ruler as its best for a full vertical A4 page.
Of course, I expect most people would have 12inches.

What ever gave you that idea, Scarecrow? This thread is clearly about rulers.

Now, on topic; I have one of those plastic ones that is limp, and it usually isn't very long, but when I get out my new notebooks, take off the plastic packaging, and open them up, my ruler falls flat on the page, aligning in a straight manner to help me rule up my notebook. I think it's about average, but people compliment me on my excellent aligning abilities and unique ruler all the time, so there you go.

Oh, I understand now. People often comment on how large my hardened steel ruler is. I never really took much notice of other people's rulers because I always figured that was a bit weird, but apparently mine is truly a piece of stationary not to be reckoned with.

Only the manliest of men have large rulers, I hear.

Brilliant.

Also I have one of those one metre wooden rulers. It's big, so it's useful, but it is a bitch to carry around and almost impossible to hide because it doesn't bend. It also is too big to fit in most places you would normally put one.

I'm thinking about downsizing.

Oh god I lolled. I actually had a brief rofl.

Personally I use a metre ruler becaue I can get so much more utility out of it. It doesn't quite fit in my pencil case though, that's the only problem.

Edit: OH ffs Myself. You actually ninjad me perfectly on all fronts. How the ****?

I seriously don't have a ruler. It won't do me much use in law school.

But having a place to put those rulers is a fast way to advance your career.

If you know what I mean.
